As well as the Zen Art Nomad Watercolor Travel System, I was sent a block of their professional watercolor paper, 100% cotton; I was really interested to test this paper as given the price, I was so surprised to see the price.
I tested the Zen Art Supplies watercolors on two different papers, their own professional watercolor paper and also on some high quality Arch Watercolor Block and the results were surprising to say the least.
As I mentioned, this was the art work completed using the Zen Art Supplies 24 Half Pan Nomad Watercolor Travel System and if you would like to see the artwork come to life I have also added a short speed drawing video of the entire process. It is not by any stretch of the imagination the finest watercolor painting you’ve ever seen, but I was really quite happy with the final effect.
