Spiderman
Spiderman
A while ago, I was fortunate enough to have been sent some of Spectrum Noir's Illustrator and Graphic Markers. At the time, there were very little reds in the sets I had been sent and I commented about this in my review, not long later, I was very lucky to be sent a couple of sets containing beautiful shades of red. It was at this point that I decided to draw something using the reds and demonstrating that the Illustrator and Graphic markers could work beautifully together.
As time went on, Spectrum Noir released a fantastic line of Artliners, a mix of brush pens and fineliners, again I completed my own personal review of these pens which you can find at this link. When I eventually started to draw the Spiderman, I decided to complete the drawing using all the Spectrum Noir supplies I had, Illustrator and Graphic markers, ColourBlend and AquaBlend colored pencils and the range of Artliners.
It All Went Wrong
When I first started out with the drawing, I wanted to draw the new Spiderman and so this was the image I chose to draw. However, as I was almost finished, my beautiful youngest daughter noticed I was in a lot of pain and came over to give me a hug, as she did this, she had a glass of blackcurrant juice in her hand, which as she hugged me, tipped it over almost complete drawing.
Needless to say she was devastated, as was I, however my daughters feelings were more important, I was so worried that she would blame herself, but thankfully, she didn't. However, I still had the task of doing a Spiderman speed drawing, I really wanted to demonstrate the Spectrum Noir coloring pencils, markers and artliners all working together, so I completed this slightly easier drawing. I had already spent a lot of time on the first drawing and didn't want to take even more time.

Final Spiderman Image
Although this is not one of my best works, I didn't feel I had a lot of time to do it in and it was perhaps a bit rushed, never the less, I think the video shows wonderfully the seamless coverage the Illustrator markers give and the detail you can achieve with the Graphic markers.
