Spectrum Noir TriBlend Brush Markers Halloween Art Work
Spectrum Noir TriBlend Brush Markers Halloween Art Work
I am fortunate enough and honoured to have tested, demonstrated and reviewed quite a lot of the Spectrum Noir products throughout the time I have been reviewing art products, in fact Spectrum Noir were one of the very first companies to reach out to me, way back when I only had 500 subscribers or so. However, as you know, my reviews are brutally honest just how the companies expect them to be.
A while back Spectrum Noir sent me a 24 box of their Tri-Blend Markers which I tested and reviewed and had a lot of fun with, the first Tri-Blend marker they came out with sported the bullet nib, quite similar to the nib in their Graphic Markers. Now they have come out with a new version of the Tri-Blend, this time with their gorgeous brush tip
This time however I unfortunately didn’t have access to the full range of colors but I wanted to help demonstrate the colors and markers as best I could; given that it is Halloween, I thought I would add a Halloween theme to the art. I also thought that not having the full range of colors would give me the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how perfectly the other markers in the Spectrum Noir family such as the Illustrator and Graphic work so harmoniously together.
I completed this particular image on Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Smooth paper, I find this paper perfect for the juicy consistency of the Spectrum Noir markers. A lot of the time, it is important to use a smooth surface for alcohol markers so the ink sits on top of the paper, allowing you to blend it, before it seeps into the paper. However, the Spectrum Noir markers are just pack filled with gorgeous ink and so for me personally, I prefer to use a slightly more absorbent paper so that the inks blend beautifully.
