Daler Rowney Botanical Art With Watercolour Pencils
When I first started to review these Daler Rowney Watercolour Pencils, if you read the full review on The Art Gear Guide or watch the YouTube video review, you will see that I really wasn’t looking forward to reviewing them never mind creating some artwork with them.
However, as soon as I started swatching and testing the Daler Rowney Watercolour Pencils, I was really excited and up for trying to create something really nice with the pencils and hopefully help to demonstrate what I could see in terms of beautiful pigments.
This was only a simple drawing of an Autumn leaf, however, I was really pleased with the outcome, I loved the process and the art did not let me down in terms of portraying just how rich and vibrant the pigments are of the Daler Rowney Watercolour Pencils.
I used the Clairefontaine Paint-On paper to paint the artwork, this is a paper I have reviewed before, which if you are interested you can follow the link to watch. The Clairefontaine Pain-On paper is like a mixed media paper and in the review I completed of it, I tested a lot of different mediums on it, all of which performed beautifully, as was the case with the Daler Rowney Watercolour Pencils.
