Posca Colored Pencils Artwork Star Wars The Emperor's Royal Guard
The artwork in this post was created using the Posca Colored Pencils that were kindly sent to me by Posca, or Uni Mitsubishi if you prefer. As you can see I have added my sketch in the list of images, I have gone over the initial sketch quite heavily in order for you to see it properly, however, ordinarily you would draw your sketch as light as possible.
As you can see both the top and bottom image here are very similar, however the top one was done on Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Velum and the bottom one was completed on Derwent Lightfast Paper. If you watch the review you will see why I chose the the Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Velum paper to complete my drawing on and ditched the Derwent Lightfast Paper. This is an example of finding the right paper for the right pencil, the most expensive paper is not always the correct paper for the type of art you are wanting to create.
If you would like to know more about the Posca Colored Pencils you can check out the YouTube review I have uploaded as well as a speed drawing which will help you see the artwork I created come to life. I have also a written review on The Art Gear Guide where you can go and check out.
