Brutfuner 520 Colored Pencils Botanical Art
It took me quite a while to select an image to draw with 520 but it is really difficult to select a piece of art that is going to help demonstrate 520 colored pencils. My review of the Brutfuner 520 Colored Pencils is available on my YouTube channel and the written review is also on the website. I eventually chose this botanical image as I really wanted to show of the greens, but even this image does not do the Brutfuner palette any justice.
When I completed the swatch of all 520 colors I used the A3 Fabriano Artistico Extra White Hot Pressed pad that I had as it was the largest pad to hand. However, the excellent quality paper helped me to provide a decent swatch and get a good feel to the pencils. The artwork however was completed on a paper that I will be reviewing very soon, an exceptionally high quality paper, the Huahnemühle 640 Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper.
