I have wanted to get my hands on the Winsor And Newton Pigment Markers for such a long time now, but in order to create what I hope to be a decent review, I knew that I needed to purchase at least the 36 Set, which is the largest set Winsor And Newton sell of the markers. However the main problem was the cost, the 36 set of Pigment Markers was always used to be incredibly expensive, making the review process a little bit slow.
The overall appearance of the Promarker is incredibly streamlined, the marker looks like a large bullet, however, this design aesthetic actually serves quite an important roll. At one end of the marker is the pointed cap and the other end sports the squareness off cap. This helps the artists immediately know when selecting a pigment that under the pointed cap, in the case of the Promarker, is the bullet nib and under the squad off cap is the chisel nib.
As with the Winsor & Newton Colored Pencils, I loved using their Watercolor Pencils and I think that comes across in my painting of the Lemons. I think the speed painting and still images illustrate the strength of the pigments and smooth coverage.
I spoke to an incredibly helpful and professional lady at Winsor & Newton about the new line and asked for some information on the products, only to have this wonderful lady offer to send the sets out to me for review.
